Repair or replace a punctured tyre
Many punctures in the tread can be repaired safely. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, or a tyre that has been driven flat, usually means replacement. We inspect the tyre inside and out and tell you which applies before doing any work.
When a flat battery is not the battery
If a new battery goes flat again, the cause is often the charging system or something drawing power with the car switched off. We test the battery and the alternator output together, so you do not pay for a battery that was never the problem.
Hybrid batteries
Hybrid vehicles carry a high-voltage battery as well as the normal 12-volt one. When a hybrid shows a warning message or loses economy, we read the fault codes first to find out which system is at fault, then explain the options and cost before any work goes ahead.

Can every puncture be repaired?
No. Small punctures in the main tread area are often repairable. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, large holes, or a tyre that was driven while flat usually needs replacing. We check the tyre and tell you before any work starts.
How long does a car battery last?
Heat is hard on batteries, so on the Gold Coast many last only a few years. Short trips and cars that sit unused shorten life further. A battery health test at your next service shows how much life is left.
